GPS Tracking for Red Birds
GPS, Random Thoughts March 19th, 2008The title may be deceiving, but it did cross my mind. We have a Cardinal that has been hanging around our house for the past couple of days and it would be interesting to know if it was the same one that was INSIDE our house this weekend. If you watch the video below you’ll see that I could have easily installed our portable GPS tracking device on the bird. Yet even if I had installed our portable tracking device, which weighs less than a pound, it would have prevented the Cardinal from going anywhere. This reminded me of the pigeon tracking project we saw at the Where 2.0 conference last year.

Wow! I almost believed it was a real Cardinal until I saw what it did to your MacBook. I didn’t know that Microsoft robotics had become that advanced.
